“The Law Reformer” is a Magazine that is developed annually by the Law Commission. Keeping the public awareness function in mind, the Commission devised several strategies under its civic education and public awareness initiatives to reach out to the public; one such strategy is the publication of a Magazine. This Magazine contains information concerning the Commission and its core business, law reform. The Magazine is more comprehensive than a newsletter. It concentrates on a wider context on law reform and does not feature on activities of the Commission. The aim is to provide an interesting insight into the Commissions core mandate and field of competence. The Magazine also forms a platform for debate where individuals can pose questions and concerns concerning various laws; and may include interviews of prominent external and internal figures. Simply put, the Magazine serve as a forum where the business of law reform can be taught, explained, discussed and questioned.
